Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished). Renewable energy does not include energy sources which are traditionally thought to be dependent upon limited resources, such as fossil fuels and nuclear fission power.
