Copa FGF
The Copa FGF (Portuguese: Copa Federação Gaúcha de Futebol), is a cup competition organized by the Rio Grande do Sul state football federation for clubs that are in the first and second divisions of the Campeonato Gaúcho. It is held in the second half of the year and usually clubs participating in the higher levels of the Campeonato Brasileiro do not participate. Grêmio and Internacional fielded its Under-20 team and B team respectively.
The cup originated in 2004 and provides qualification to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D and Copa do Brasil.
The 2010 edition of the cup was named after Enio Costamilan, a former football president of Caxias, Grêmio and Flamengo, who died in 2009.[1] The 2008 edition was named after Lupi Martins, and the 2009 edition was named after former Internacional president Artur Dallegrave; 2007 was Paulo Rogério Amoretty.
