Lucayan Archipelago

The Lucayan Archipelago is a cluster of islands that comprise the northernmost extent of the West Indies. The archipelago is located in the western North Atlantic Ocean east of Florida and north of the Greater Antilles. The archipelago consists of three main groups of islands:
- The Bahama Islands
- The Caicos Islands
- The Turks Islands
Andros Island in the Bahama Islands is the most extensive island of the archipelago.
The Bahama Islands are governed by the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, while the Turks Islands and the Caicos Islands are governed by the British Overseas Territory of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
