The Mount Crosby Pumping Station is located near the Brisbane River. These plants supply water to Brisbane and nearby cities and towns. The pumping station is close to the Mount Crosby Weir.

Most of the water is from Lake Wivenhoe, though some is also from Lake Manchester [1].

The pumping station was once powered by coal.
