Notes to the maintainer

Criteria for picture of the week:

  1. The image must be about Indonesia image, including places, buildings, people, culture, food/drink, products, etc.
  2. The image must be in Commons.
  3. The image should be large enough, but this is not a strict requirement.

Please follow the following guidelines to make a new picture of the week in order to maintain consistency in this portal:

  1. Click the next week red-link article to create a new one. Please consider to copy-paste from the previous/current article to follow the same style.
  2. Add small description and boldface the link to the main article. Don't forget to credit the author/photographer or the uploader if any.
  3. Go to the image description at Commons to put this note:
    {{POTW Indonesia|subpage}}
    where subpage is the new picture of the week's subpage name, that is after "Portal:Indonesia/POTW/" subpage.
  4. Go to the uploader's/author's talk page to give him/her a thank you note with the following template:

When adding a new featured picture, please be sure to update the "max" value in the "Random portal component" function as well.
