Siikalatva is a municipality of Finland.

Siikalatva is located in the province of Oulu and is part of the Northern Ostrobothnia region. It was created on January 1, 2009 when the municipalities of Kestilä, Piippola, Pulkkila and Rantsila were consolidated into a single municipality.[6]

The municipality has a population of 6,070 (31 January 2012)[2] and covers an area of 2,229.20 square kilometres (860.70 sq mi) of which 58.78 km2 (22.70 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 2.8 inhabitants per square kilometre (7.3 /sq mi).

The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
