Sony Yay! is an Indian pay television channel aimed at children, operated by Sony Pictures Networks India. The channel replaced Animax in 2017.
History
The channel was launched on 18 April 2017 replacing Animax. Following the rebrand, Sony Pictures Networks announced their plans to migrate all anime programming featured in Animax as paid content to its digital platform Sony LIV.[1] In addition, the company has also stated Animax Asia was launched as a live, HD channel via streaming on that same platform.[2]
2017 in Sony Yay Launch 5 Shows include Paap-O-Meter, Guru Aur Bhole, Sab Jholmaal Hai, Kicko & Super Speedo and Prince Jai aur Damudar Veeru. and 29th October 2017 in Sony Yay Realesed First Movie Honey Bunny in Bank Robbery Distributed by Sony Pictures Networks India. and after released some movies include Honey Bunny Ka Space Adventure, Paap-O-Meter Under Attack and Paap-O-Meter Defenders of Earth.
2018 in Sony Yay Launch New Show Fab Mission Tango and Sab Jholmaal Hai Replaced in to New Show Honey Bunny Ka Jholmaal[3] and 2019 in Sony Yay Launch Honey Bunny Ka Jholmaal's Mini Show Lapet te Raho With Honey Bunny and Relesed Honey Bunny's some movies after 2020 in Sony Yay Launch Oscar Ab Bus Kar and 12th October 2020 in Sony Yay Launch Brand The Honey Bunny Show With Kapil Sharma, 29th February in Sony Yay Launch Brand New Show Hone Fun Tan a Tan and 19th April 2021 in Sony Yay Launch Taarak Mehta Kka Chhota Chashmah.
