Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Lightsaber Duels is a Wii video game based on Star Wars: The Clone Wars.[4] The game was released on November 11, 2008.[5]

The events of the game's "Campaign Mode" take place during the film and select episodes from the first season of the television series, specifically "Duel of the Droids", "Cloak of Darkness", "Shadow of Malevolence", and "Destroy Malevolence" (in that order), finishing with a scenario original to the game.
[edit] Gameplay
Lightsaber Duels makes use of the Wii Remote to simulate lightsaber combat. Players also use the Nunchuk to utilize Force powers to enhance their strength and manipulate objects on the field if applicable to the character.
In "Campaign Mode", the player can only fight as Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Tano, each in their costumes from the series. They battle the dark assassin Asajj Ventress, Sith Lord Count Dooku, and Supreme Commander of the droid army, General Grievous, plus a Jedi Hunter, named EG-5, a droid that is programmed to use a lightsaber.
In "Challenge Mode", you are given the choice to play as any character in the game that you currently unlocked, and enter a series of duels in which specific goals are set. If they are met, a blue Republic symbol will appear at the end of the duel. Each character has four challenges. Some challenges are more difficult than others, but they unlock powerful new characters like Kit Fisto(Nine), Mace Windu(Seventeen) and Plo Koon(twenty-seven). Some battlefields can be unlocked as well like the Sarlacc Pit and Mustafar.

The game allows players to control ten heroes or villains from the series:
- Anakin Skywalker: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- Obi-Wan Kenobi: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- Ahsoka Tano: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- Mace Windu: Unlocked by completing 17 challenges in Challenge Mode
- Count Dooku: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- Asajj Ventress: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- General Grievous: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
- Kit Fisto: Unlocked by completing 7 challenges in Challenge Mode
- Plo Koon: Unlocked by completing 27 challenges in Challenge Mode
- EG-5 Jedi Hunter Droid: Unlocked by completing Story Mode
