Speedy request[edit]

The reason why I requested speedy deletion is that there already exists an article (of somewhat dubious notability) at Critics' Choice Super Awards. There is certainly no need to have two articles for an event that hasn't even taken place yet. If years down the line, some or all of these annual (?) events turn out to be notable enough to warrant their individual articles, rather than being covered in the parent article, then so be it, but we simply don't know that yet. Wikipedia is not WP:CRYSTALBALL -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:03, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Alright then, I won't contest the deletion. I will try and fit the information into the other article. Thank you for the notice. -- Ajack15 (talk) 13:36, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... (your reason here) --173.72.244.229 (talk) 20:27, 20 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is the first of presumably many award Super Award ceremonies from the previously established Broadcast Film Critics Association. It should not be speedily deleted.
