Misleading wording[edit]

The previous words "The system begins at Terminal 1, (..), and makes a counterclockwise loop to Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 (..) travels east to Terminal 5 (..) proceeds to its final station at the Remote Parking area" states that the train starts at T1, goes east to T2, T3, T5 and P, but implies that it then goes all the way back to T1 without stopping at the other terminals. I have changed that so it is clear that the train stops at all stations both ways, but it is hard to find a reference for that. The videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDrsDC3s5qo and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRfuTaeRIfE&feature=related show it, but cannot be used as refs as that would be WP:OR. Unnecessary page?[edit]

Especially with the ATS being rebuilt and using essentially off-the-shelf Bombardier "trains" (that do not demand their own page at other installations), is this page necessary anymore? The only thing that made the ATS at O'Hare unique was that only two installations by the original manufacturer had survived (the other in Taipei), but that ended with this reconstruction. Any significant mention regarding the ATS would be far more useful on the O'Hare page (and it is already present and up-to-date.) Chidino (talk) 01:35, 20 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The ATS is, not was[edit]

The lead should say that the Airport Transit System (ATS) "is an automated people mover system", not "was an automated people mover system". Yes, it's not currently operating. It was closed in 2019 as part of a project to expand and upgrade the system. But, it's still there. "Was" means that it's not there anymore, or at least that it's been permanently shut down, but that's not the case. We don't know when, or even if, it will reopen. But nevertheless, it is!
