POV tag[edit]

This concerns POV tag cleanup. Whenever an POV tag is placed, it is necessary to also post a message in the discussion section stating clearly why it is thought the article does not comply with POV guidelines, and suggestions for how to improve it. This permits discussion and consensus among editors. From WP tag policy: Drive-by tagging is strongly discouraged. The editor who adds the tag must address the issues on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies, namely Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons. Simply being of the opinion that a page is not neutral is not sufficient to justify the addition of the tag. Tags should be added as a last resort. Better yet, edit the topic yourself with the improvements. This statement is not a judgement of content, it is only a cleanup of frivolously and/or arbitrarily placed tags. No discussion, no tag.Jjdon (talk) 21:05, 30 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

Coverage of "Anti-Judaism in early Christianity" should not be discussed in an article of its own, but in the proper sections in the articles Anti-Judaism and Christianity and antisemitism, which this article should be merged into. Is there any opposition to this? Shalom11111 (talk) 08:39, 20 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, "Anti-semitism in early Christianity" is the more appropriate title but there is strong opposition to it and thus the current title. There is plenty of material to cover specifically in the period of "early Christianity" and the Christianity and antisemitism article would be too large if this article were merged into it. --Pseudo-Richard (talk) 02:49, 20 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The only parallel to this article is the Hebrew one, which links to 'Christianity and antisemitism' in that language. So if a merge is ever done it should be to the article mentioned (this one isn't too long either). Having said that, on a second look there appear to be enough sources about this article's topic so there may be no need for it. Shalom11111 (talk) 16:02, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedily deleted because... it has been nominated as a repost of a previously deleted article. However, the result of the AFD discussion was not "Do not delete" and so this article does not meet the speedy deletion criterion cigted. --2601:9:6180:735:ED79:8F7F:2F04:C82F (talk) 06:28, 17 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
