Fair use rationale for Image:Autocar truck logo.png[edit]

Image:Autocar truck logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Left-hand drive cars[edit]

Autocar built left-hand drive cars as early as 1905, though claiming that their doing so led to standardisation throughout most of the industry appears to be a slight over-estimation of the company’s prominence. An educated guess would be that Ford’s standardisation of left-hand drive when launching the Ford T in the autumn of 1908 had a greater impact, for example. Linking this issue to stating that ‘consequently we drive on the right side of the road’ may also be a bit misleading. For enigmatic reasons implementation of right-hand traffic started much earlier in some regions – Sweden during 1718–1734, Russia in 1752, France, the US and some others in the late 18th century, to mention a few – a couple of years before the establishment of the Autocar Company, that is.--Lundqvist G A (talk) 21:30, 12 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
