It's a 1978 Film![edit]

The mentioned year of the release in 1980 is wrong! Sorry for that inconvenience!

The reason this article is called Blank Generation (1980 film) is because it's a film from 1980: [1]. There was an earlier documentary called The Blank Generation which is from 1976, and the Richard Hell album Blank Generation is from 1977, but this film was released in October 1980. freshacconci (✉) 13:04, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Right here you get a link to this film, about the director Ulli Lommel, there you'll see, this film is released in 1978! We are supposed to tell the truth! First, the German Wikipedia is not a reliable source -- they simply have it wrong. Second, as to the link you provide above -- do you read German? The text states that the film is using documentary footage shot in 1978, nothing about it being released in 1978. It's nothing but an assumption, this movie had its premiere in 1980. The Germans couldn't be wrong, because the director had figured with it in his own country! The film got in fact its credit in 1978, just review interviews with Ulli Lommel, you'll see (and listen), this movie is entirly a movie from 1978!
