Ceylon
[edit]Rest in 1944, for instance. Mahadevan 'Satha' Sathasivam was a Sri Lankan Hindu; Sargo Jayawickrame was also Ceylonese, probably Budhist. Tintin 13:21, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
Suggested additions
[edit]1. About the English Test players who took part in this tournament. Arthur Hill hit what is the first fc 100 on Indian soil. Wilfred Rhodes did incredibly well in the early 1920s. George Herbert Hirst, Duleep and Harold Larwood are others that I can think of. Tintin 13:31, 29 September 2005 (UTC)
Race?
[edit]Hindu iS not a race, neither iS MuSlim or ParSi, European iSnt either, though white iS, Stop uSing termS like inter racial when none of them iS a race
- What's with the capital S? Anyway, your basic point is correct. I've changed some references to reflect this, though left others where it seemed that race was the main issue. The article on communalism (South Asia), which I've linked to in the article, could do with some expansion, but I'm not qualified to do so accurately. --OpenToppedBus - Talk to the driver 15:04, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
- Good call, thanks for making that change. -dmmaus 23:16, 6 October 2005 (UTC)
