@Grutness:. You may be right that it is the best thing to move the page to (New Zealand). However, what was in my mind was that the NZGB gazeteer reports 9 places of that name in NZ. In searching for sources for this new article I had already come across a different Bullock Creek in the Haast area, and another one in Wanaka. See [1]. I guess that if someone writes articles about those in future the page names can be revisited if necessary. There are also two Fox Rivers on the West Coast. ! Feedback about the Bullock Creek article would be welcome. Cheers Marshelec (talk) 04:34, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, OK... that makes sense - though the usual style on WP is usually to use (New Zealand) unless there are other existing articles or others are likely to appear very soon. There are articles for both Fox River (Westland) and Fox River (Buller), so they're disambiguated more thoroughly. If an article appears about one of the other Bullock Creeks, it'd be easy enough to move this back, but for now - unless you're planning on another couple of articles! - just using "New Zealand" makes some sense. Grutness...wha? 09:14, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
