Marseille(s)[edit]

Wikipedia runs on consensus, which has concluded that the native spelling "Marseille" is now also the standard English spelling rather than "Marseilles" - see here for discussion, including a recent NPW challenge.

So, passing visitors, please NOT to change the spelling of the city name to "Marseilles". If you feel really strongly abou it, you need to fight out the point elsewhere.HeartofaDog (talk) 19:42, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
