Old talk[edit]

The article says that Demidov was Russia's last ambassador to Greece. Doesn't Russia still have an ambassador to Greece? It seems unlikely that its him since he seemed to have lived in the early 20th century.Bless sins (talk) 15:58, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not Russia's, but Russian Empire's.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 14:22, July 10, 2009 (UTC)

Expatriate of the Russian Empire[edit]

It appears that even though Demidov was born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire he was a national of the Russian Empire at the time of his birth.John Pack Lambert (talk) 15:50, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

So? Even if true (hard to determine, perhaps he had the Austrian nationality by birth, as e.g. the US grants), he still wasn't an expatriate by any normal definition of that term. Fram (talk) 16:08, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
