Dubious Citations + Page Deleted Previously[edit]

The only references that this article cites are small articles from online newspapers, which are known to publish something or the other about any and every event that they come to know of, newsworthy or not. As such, these citations cannot be used to assert the noteworthiness of FIITJEE.

Further, I want to draw attention to the fact that a page with a similar name was deleted multiple times earlier. See this link for the deletion log.

Unsuitable Article[edit]

Articles on coaching classes are not suitable rather an article on coaching classes in general is necessary. --Kandarp Khandwala

Delete this article[edit]

What is this article doing at an encyclopedia. It's in for deletion.--Shashankgupta (talk) 11:36, 29 June 2009 (UTC)t[reply]

    • The neutrality of the article is questionable.

exactly it should be deleted —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.168.201.172 (talk) 06:56, 18 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
•••This article is like an advertisement of that institute because it doesn't discuss if they have been involved in any kind of scandals which i suspect they have been but i am not sure. Also this article praises them for the scholarships that they provide but not a word about how high the fee of this cram school is. So this is heavily biased article and should be deleted. though the name of this institute can be included in a general article about cram schools in india. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.201.51.157 (talk) 06:05, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

unsourced POV edits[edit]

Abhishek tiwari ji, you have been adding contentious material without references from reliable sources. Please attempt to maintain a neutral point of view and accompany your statements with references. Nick Number (talk) 15:38, 17 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE DO NOT TAG FOR CSD AGAIN![edit]

Firstly, it was kept at an AfD. Secondly, my erroneous honoring of the CSD was overturned at WP:DRV. IF ANYONE BELIEVES THIS NEEDS TO BE DELETED please take it back to WP:AFD. Thanks, Dlohcierekim (talk) 14:09, 13 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cram school or coaching institute?[edit]

As per this Teahouse discussion, I have suggested that cram school be replaced with coaching institute on the following grounds:

  • Both terms have the same meaning
  • Cram school is a critical term, while coaching institute is a relatively more neutral term

I’d like to know the opinion of concerned editors on this article before proceeding. RedBulbBlueBlood9911Talk 06:24, 17 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I believe cram school is more appropriate as it is what the reliable sources are using, e.g. reuters. -- Faisal5721 (talk)

Article cleanup proposal[edit]

I am considering removing sections 1 to 4 5 of the article, as they are too much promotional and unsourced, and removing the 2nd reference as it is a 404 link. Does anyone object to this removal? 45.251.33.44 (talk) 11:30, 28 February 2021 (UTC) updated on 11:33, 28 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Islamophobic post by founder DK Goel[edit]

Section on DK Goel's Islamophobic posts are constantly being removed by IP editors. See 1 and 2. The 2nd IP argues that The Free Press Journal is an obscure newspaper, which is non-sense as it has its own Wikipedia article and is older than the subject of this article. -- Faisal5721 (talk) 14:08, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The IP also argues that the news is fake and the screenshots are fake. Here is an example www.linkedin.com/pulse/global-islamophobia-follows-trumps-embassy-move-d-k-goel (archived version : archive.ph/UQkLg).
Also the right-wing Hindu nationalist government is encouraging these islamophobes in India. Sad. -- Faisal5721 (talk) 14:23, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Several months late; the Islamophobia is sad indeed, but I'm not seeing any policy-based justification for mentioning the Islamophobic posts in an article about FIITJEE; this is not an article about Goel, but rather an institution he founded. It is WP:UNDUE (among other things) to include that here. JavaHurricane 15:08, 9 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
