I'll do this one soon. Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 12:02, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- Update: I don't really have the time to continue this. 'Cause of our lockdown, school and real life issues I won't be that much online for a week or longer. :/ Cheers. CPA-5 (talk) 22:29, 17 March 2020 (UTC)
- No problem, I'll see if I can get someone to take it over. We're in a similar boat here - working from home if we can, schools are all closed, etc. Stay safe over there! Parsecboy (talk) 11:51, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
I'll take a look at this later today. Harrias talk 12:13, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks Harrias, much appreciated. Parsecboy (talk) 12:52, 18 March 2020 (UTC)
- Design
- "..which was installed aboard Amiral Duperré.[1] Amiral Duperré provided the basis.." Avoid the repetition of "Amiral Duperre" if possible.
- Done
- "The center 340 0m gun.." Typo.
- Fixed
- Service history
- Could you clarify in the article that Ajaccio is on Corsica.
- Good idea
- Why include the part about Theodore Ropp's suggestion that it happened in 1890? The Naval Annual was published in 1889; the fact that it reported on it at that stage means that it could not have happened in 1890. At best, Ropp is referring to a different incident, at worst, he is just plain wrong, surely? This doesn't seem to be a case where either could plausibly be correct, and we have to provide balance.
- That's a good point - when I was writing the article, I had looked at Ropp first, and then just modified it with Brassey's account later.

- All formatted appropriately and consistently, to reliable sources.
- Images
- File:Italian battleship Italia (1880) at La Spezia 1897.jpg – I'm uncertain how this meets the US PD requirement: do we know that it was first published outside the US (this isn't asserted, the scan is from a book published in New York). Similarly, the book it was published in dates from 1979, and I am sure will be copyrighted.
- The photo would have been out of copyright in the country of origin in 1917, since they use the date of creation, not publication - that puts it out of copyright well before the URAA date. Original publication of old images is notoriously difficult to establish, but we can safely assume that Conway's was not the original one.
- @Nikkimaria: Any chance you could take a look at this image I'm a bit unsure, and feel uncomfortable signing the GA review off while I remain uncertain. Harrias talk 18:01, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- Is Conway's the first publication that can be confirmed? Does any attribution appear in that work? Nikkimaria (talk) 18:05, 21 March 2020 (UTC)
- It's the only one I've seen - it's attributed to the Aldo Fraccaroli collection, though he was not alive to have taken it. Parsecboy (talk) 13:53, 24 March 2020 (UTC)
- Okay. So the potential issue here is point #2 of the URAA tag - publication date. Does Conway's have a copyright notice? Nikkimaria (talk) 01:54, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- For the book? Yes it does. Parsecboy (talk) 11:55, 25 March 2020 (UTC)
- Right. So the Italian tag in use gives a publication date cutoff of 1978 for US PD status, and the Conway's ref is 1979. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:43, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- Replaced with File:'Italia,' first class ironclad of the Italian Navy LCCN2003672917 cropped.jpg. Thanks Nikki. Parsecboy (talk) 09:25, 29 March 2020 (UTC)

- Otherwise all the images are appropriately licensed.
- Infobox
- Guy-Victor Duperré is listed as the namesake, but this isn't referenced, or mentioned in the body.
- I can't find a source, so I'll remove it. Thanks for taking on the review, Harrias! Parsecboy (talk) 17:28, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
Overall, there's not much wrong with this one, nice work. Harrias talk 10:19, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
- Cheers, with that change of image, this is all good. Thanks for your help, Nikkimaria. Harrias talk 09:29, 29 March 2020 (UTC)
