Queen Victoria's novel?[edit]

A novel written and signed by Queen Victoria? Sounds unlikely. Some expansion might help.--Wetman (talk) 15:16, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have an NT guide to the house (1997, revised 2003) in which there is no mention. The library does however contain a volume of Goethe's Faust which Victoria gave Disraeli as a gift. nancy 15:51, 20 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing 800 years[edit]

The article states that the manor was first recorded in 1086 and was subsequently purchased by Disraeli in 1848. That leaves a rather large span of time unaccounted for... FatBear1 (talk) 00:23, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
