Founded in 1203?[edit]

What is the evidence that it was founded in 1203? There is evidence that the *Abbey* was in existence by 1203, but I do not think there is any evidence dating the foundation of the Priory.— Preceding unsigned comment added by PeterKidd (talk • contribs) 6 March 2009‎

I'm not sure. From what I've read it dates to 'sometime after' the Benedictine monastery was founded. A charter dated to early December 1203 dates the monastery.
