Surname spelling: Nicole vs. Nichol[edit]

Untitled[edit]

In response to Dismas's edit comment asking where the alternative spelling of Nichol is coming from, I believe it was probably a terrible mistake on Playboy's part. Their Cyber Club had graphics using the incorrect spelling of Nichol. Everything has been repaired now. --cogpsy 04:33, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for that! I have the magazine at home and had double checked it. Since I don't pay for the Cyber Club, I didn't see the misspellings on the graphics. Thanks again, Dismas|(talk) 04:39, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No problem :) It is possible it may have originated as a publicist's mistake, but I first recall seeing the incorrect spelling in the CC. --cogpsy 13:07, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's her real name anyway. Several Playboy models have the supposed last name Nicole (z.B. Crista Nicole), which to me indicates that it is a middle name used as a last name to protect the model's true identity. Sara Jean Underwood, Stephanie Eve Larimore, and Juliette Rose Fretté posed simply under the names Sara Jean, Stephanie Eve, and Juliette Rose, respectively, in pictorials before they were chosen as Playmates. They didn't choose to reveal their last names until their centerfold appearances. In Jayde's case, I think the entire name is fabricated. She looks just like Apprentice star Rebecca Jarvis. I guess the only way to positively tell if they're the same person is to look up Rebecca's skirt and see if she has the word Respect tatooed on her vagina. 40four (talk) 18:41, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PMOY accolade[edit]

Best source I can find quickly for her being the 2008 Playmate of the Year is here, which doesn't really count as reliable IMO. Tabercil (talk) 22:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

actress in Italy?[edit]

she did also this movie: http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Un%27estate_ai_Caraibi ... nothing to celebrate,it's a sort of "american pie" and it seems at the moment it's her only role...93.32.236.177 (talk) 15:46, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bad picture[edit]

Who changed the picture? She looks retarded in the new pic. Her eyes are looking in different directions, totally cockeyed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.105.235.111 (talk) 07:57, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WP:BLPPRIMARY and "real" name[edit]

For a while now, the article has given the full name of this person. It cited as its source a Hollywood Reporter story. But that story doesn't give the full name - instead it links a transcript of a legal case involving Jayde Nicole. The purported name, and that ref, were removed by an anon in these edits. From my understanding of WP:BLPPRIMARY, we indeed should not be citing this kind of information about a living person from such a source - that policy explicitly says "Do not use trial transcripts and other court records, or other public documents, to support assertions about a living person" - which is precisely what we were doing. -- Finlay McWalter··–·Talk 16:21, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
