I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of List of awards and nominations received by Tom Hanks's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "GG":

  • From Bill Paxton: "Bill Paxton". GoldenGlobes.com. Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). Retrieved February 26, 2017.
  • From Will Smith: "Will Smith". Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Archived from the original on December 20, 2016. Retrieved September 28, 2016. {{cite web}}: Unknown parameter |deadurl= ignored (|url-status= suggested) (help)

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 10:28, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This article is either mistitled or miswritten[edit]

This is only a list of his film/acting industry awards and nominations. He has also received many civilian awards, most of which are considered far more significant and prestigious than industry awards. For example, in 2014 he was a Kennedy Center honoree. In 2016, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award one can receive in the United States. Just glancing at Stephen King's page, it lists his National Medal of Arts, for example, not just the industry nominations for each of his books. MarcelB612 (talk) 13:42, 17 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
