Replaced the gallery with a link to commons. Left the one picture that hasn't been uploaded to commons. Bobjgalindo (talk) 21:06, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lock may have world's highest lift[edit]

The lock apparently is the highest single-lift lock in the world, with a lift of 75 feet. See https://www.nww.usace.army.mil/Locations/District-Locks-and-Dams/McNary-Lock-and-Dam/

Shouldn't this be noted? I happened upon this information while researching the history of the region. The Peterborough Lock #21 in Ontario with a lift of 65 feet, has a well established cheering section on the Web for the title, though its Wikipedia page uses the past tense. I don't know a lock from a hole in the ground...somebody who does should look into this. Cpacker666 (talk) 22:30, 22 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
