If Megiddo is in "the occupied Palestinian territories", then it should be listed as Megiddo, Palestine instead of Megiddo, Israel, right? -- Zoe
I found 2 references in other on-line encyclopedae. One lists as "Israel", other as "Northern Israel". So I changed the occupied... part back to Israel. I left the "military prison" part because it seems more NPOV than the "convicted of terrorism" line. If anyone knows more and can maintain NPOV, go to it. -- Marknau
- Megiddo is well inside the Green Line, although many Palestinians think it should be theirs together with the rest of Israel (an early version of the Acre article classified the city "occupied Palestinian land"). --Uri
What does Megiddo have to do with Eshqelon, which is "Majid" in Arabic? How are we sure that this is the "Plane of Meggido" that the Bible talks about?
