Fair use rationale for Image:Athena psycho.JPG[edit]

Image:Athena psycho.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

English song[edit]

Who is the singer of the song in the English version of the game? 2fort5r (talk) 14:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Athena (Athena) and Athena (Psycho Soldier)[edit]

The original Athena and the Psycho Soldier Athena are unequal; however, they are related to each other in family. The Psycho Soldier Athena is the descendant of the original Athena. Parrothead1983 (talk) 05:39, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Can you cite your source please? The game instructions (for the home computer version at least) state that it's the same character. Marasmusine (talk) 08:56, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Encyclopedic?[edit]

While this article has information I was googling for, and I do want it to be available somewhere, there has to be a better place for it than wikipedia. This "article" is not encyclopedic and does not belong in an encyclopedia. This is about a minor videogame which had no documented impact on the world. There are no citations. There is a long rambling recap of the story line (again, without saying where any of the information is coming from).

Is there some videogame wiki this can be moved to?

This was the first video game anywhere to feature a vocal soundtrack. That's what makes it notable. Xparasite9 (talk) 20:10, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That, and the multiple instances of significant coverage from reliable sources, which is our general measure of notability. I had added the two reviews for the Spectrum port - there's more out there. Marasmusine (talk) 07:23, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not the first[edit]

Psycho Soldier isn't the first game to use a vocal soundtrack, during play or otherwise. Have a look at Journey from three years earlier, which plays a song by the band while you act as a bouncer to the concert: Journey (1983 video game)

Journey uses a looping cassette player for the audio, so at best Psycho Soldier might be the first one to have a vocal soundtrack contained on the actual ROMs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.13.125 (talk) 14:29, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
