Rewrote JFK conspiracy section[edit]

I rewrote this section to emphasize that this Mafia/Cuban exile alliance to kill Kennedy was simply Bill Bonanno's theory and was not proven fact.Rogermx (talk) 22:17, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Some one has edited out the section on the JFK assassination theory. This was a major point of Bill Bonanno's memoir, and also of the film based on his and his father's memoirs. I have restored the section on Bill Bonanno and his JFK assassination theory. Bonnano quite obviously felt this was an important part of his life story, as it is discussed at length in his memoir, and in the film "Bonanno: A Godfather's Story" on which Bill Bonanno is credited as both writer and executive producer. To the Bonanno's, the important point is that they withheld their participation from trying to influence Kennedy on Cuba, or in the killing. This theory of the JFK assassination is also very important to the Bonanno story of Mafia power in America - their explanation of the decline of the Mafia after the Americanized generation came into power. Question for the writers of this article[edit]

I am curious about the university-age years of Bill Bonanno. In this article, there is mention of his attending the U. of Arizona for just 2 years. Then, in the next section, there is mention of some desire or intention or attempt to attend law school... the article is not clear. I was hoping someone could fill-in and tighten up his whereabouts and activities regarding any educational pursuits, when he left the U. of Arizona and after. Did he attend any NY area schools, even possibly after his "initiation"? Thank you. MsJ88 (talk) 21:16, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
