Removed uncited quote[edit]

I've removed the uncited quote. "Gradualism" is not acceptable in WP:BLPs - either cite it or remove it.

The quote itself seems rather irrelevant or even harmless, except that taken out-of-context it might seem a bit silly (I don't know the context - it is only one line). In short it is not in line with the conservative writing style demanded by WP:BLP. Smallbones (talk) 14:44, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article does not appear to be very objective. How can an MP who has never held ministerial office be described as "widely regarded as one of the most senior British politicians in the government"? As a backbench MP, Stuart Bell is not even in the government, let alone one of its most senior members.
