Alluding[edit]

Doesn't the title allude to the episode "House of the Rising Sun"? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jal11497 (talkcontribs)

It's very possible. It could also be referring Lockdown. Either way, doesn't necessarily seem notable by itself. If it had references or something it could work. --HELLØ ŦHERE 08:41, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think it refers to the film "Down Periscope" due to the scene where Sayid submerges Dogen in the healing pool, much like a submarine diving. Also, submarines were used in World War II against the Japanese, and Dogen is Japanese, so the reference is pretty blatant. But I'll find a cite on the wen before I add it. --Captain Infinity (talk) 03:56, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Broadcast[edit]

I'm not used to post on wikis, this is why I'm using the discussion section. I just want to point out the fact that the sixth episode was broadcast at 7:00 p.m EST in Canada, on CTV. My god, this is the best episode since years! Really! So intense! My English isn't good enough to talk about the plot, but it is very dramatic! Wow! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.210.182.13 (talk) 01:12, 3 March 2010 (UTC) [1][reply]

Arabic[edit]

Anyone else notice or care that such a big budget show fumbled its way through the one line of Arabic: Imma (Inna?) nekhod al-afTal min al-madrassa. Also the translation was wrong; that says: "Rather (or verily?) we take the aftal from the school." Michael Sheflin (talk) 17:15, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
