It is always preferable to use a photo that features the artist himself without being joined by anybody else. The use of a photo of another known artist with him, however important that person is, just smells of propaganda and takes away the attention from the artist we are talking about. So such photos with famed people reduce attention on the main subject, instead of supposedly the desired effect of enhancing an artist's stature. In any case, for such types of what I call "promotional pictures", a description should be added as many do not know who is the main personality being talked about and who is the "other" person. werldwayd (talk) 14:15, 30 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
