Talk Started for USS Duluth[edit]

I corrected a typographical error regarding the date of the Singapore portcall while en route to the Persian Gulf in 2003. It happened at the end of January, not the end February as the ship was in the Persian Gulf by then.

My recollection of the port calls made on the 2000 deployment also calls into question the duration of the Singapore port call. It also is missing mention of a follow-up port call to Phuket, Thailand on the way back from the Persian Gulf. There were additional stops in Hong Kong and Pearl Harbor during the return trip. I corrected a factual error: the two helos in the collision in May 2003 were both Royal Navy. Neither was from USS Duluth. Also, I corrected and added to the paragraph describing the Coast Guard award. Also, external links to the Coast Guard Reservist magazines in question were added. Also, added Defend America magazine as an external link. Elsa Shoe 21:04, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Added list of COs in a new section. Elsa Shoe 22:06, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The date on the photo subtitled "USS Duluth seen here off the coast of Aden, Yemen, January 29, 2000." is impossible, the reason for the USS Duluth being there in response to the USS Cole bombing on October 12th, 2000. USS Duluth also didn't leave San Diego for its deployment until August of 2000. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.20.145.84 (talk) 15:54, 19 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Added a more user friendly URL for the USS Duluth Facebook Group. Craverii (talk) 02:44, 15 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
