List of AACSB-accredited schools (accounting)[edit]

Created by Well-rested (talk). Self nominated at 02:44, 22 January 2014 (UTC).

  • Page is tagged as undergoing a major expansion, apparently of the table, which is half-built. What's the prospect for getting that tag cleared? --Orlady (talk) 21:42, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
  • Hello! I'm expanding the list based on some comments received after nominating it as a featured list candidate. The under construction banner was removed by another user after I hadn't made changes for some time. If this will be a problem for the DYK process, feel free to remove this DYK nom. --Well-restedTalk 01:02, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
Long enough, new enough, QPQ done, hook sourced and short enough. No copyvios found.
However, I'm going to decline this per supplementary criteria D7 - the table is not complete.--Launchballer 22:46, 20 February 2014 (UTC)
Let's not use the orange cross for fairly fixable problems. Well-rested (talk · contribs), please keep typing. In future, you may want to consider the use of your personal sandbox till the article is closer to being ready. Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 16:10, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
With all due respect, PFHLai, I don't see this as fixable in the near future. Well-rested's last edit here was to a few schools on February 13 (and has only made two edits since on Wikipedia), and the article has already been through the FLC nomination process, which is what prompted the start of the expansion. The amount of work still required to bring this to a minimal DYK standard is daunting: doing the considerable research (not merely typing) to get the data for those 152 of 182 schools to fill out the final two columns of the table (five-sixths of the list is still unfinished), and also fixing the problematic City column (city is not helpful without its state, and the bulk of the entries are only states anyway). I have just pinged Well-rested's talk page, since the "user" and "ping" and like templates do not work from DYK templates to notify the user. My thoughts exactly when I saw the remark "Let's not use the orange cross for fairly fixable problems." on my watchlist. It's already been 16 days. To be honest, I am tempted to take out those rows completely because I consider it too intricate to classify as summary material.--Launchballer 19:17, 23 February 2014 (UTC)
I was hoping that Well-rested has been working on this off-line for the past 10 days or so. Thanks for posting a reminder on Well-rested's usertalk. I meant to do it, but got distracted and forgot. Let's give this nom a few more days before we put an end to it. --PFHLai (talk) 10:31, 24 February 2014 (UTC)
  • A few more days have passed—it's now two weeks since the article was edited, and a week since Well-rested's most recent Wikipedia edit. I think it's time to close the nomination as unsuccessful, based on my points above. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:29, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
I've gone ahead with the butchering.--Launchballer 08:50, 28 February 2014 (UTC)
