  • New enough and long enough at the time of nomination. Both images have appropriate copyright tags. Article is completely supported by inline citations. I think it is neutral enough but someone might want to double check that. Plagiarism check here, here, here, here do not give me any major cause for concern. Hook appears to be properly formatted. I might interwiki link to the currency.
  • Concerned about the link supporting the fact. It doesn't have the quotes used in the article and it appears to be a call for action. Is this a reliable source and why the quotes? --LauraHale (talk) 03:53, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

The source for attempting to register in 2005 and for the conversion of Dinars to Euros is this Front Line article. He was sentenced in 2010 [1]. Changed Dollars to Euros and modified the charge to match that on Front Line article.

If it is a conversion, please SAY that in the article or propose a hook using the local currency because 1000 euros is not in the article. The unregistered organisation issue does not appear to be supported by sources in the article. Now that I'm aware of this, it really, really needs to be fixed, especially given the historically controversial nature related to hooks on thus subject. The source does not say he was found guilty and it doesn't mention what you say. Source four says: "establishing a society and practicing human rights work without an official license." I would not change society to association unless it was really clear some where that these are actually the same thing. (They could have completely different legal and cultural and semantic implications.) The quote in alt2 does not appear in the article either. Alright, I have included the conversion in the article and used an inline citation for it. The unregistered organisation issue is supported by a number of sources in the article including: Front Line: "running an unlicenced association", IFEX: "running an unregistered NGO" and BCHR: "establishing a society and practicing human rights work without an official license". The latter source is also the one which mentions he was found guilty and fined 500 dinars: "the Lower Criminal Court issuing a ruling which fines Mr. Mohammed Al-Maskati with B.D. 500 after it had charged him with working in an unlicensed association" (they actually quote this Arabic article in Al Wasat newspaper). I don't know if society is the same as association (and I don't mind changing it), but it seems sources are using them for the same meaning. Good? Mohamed CJ (talk) 08:37, 6 May 2012 (UTC)

Hook needs to mention the currency in the article, which is supported by sources, and needs to be free of quotes for the type of organisation involved. If there was an alt hook that did that, I have yet to see it. --LauraHale (talk) 07:19, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
I have already included the currency in the article, supported by a source. For the type of organization we could simply keep it as organization, without stating if it's a society or association. Something like:

  • Indeed ALT 1 seems to be more interesting and looks to supported as per above. LauraHale has already reviewed and concluded that "New enough and long enough at the time of nomination.
