Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra[edit]

Created by Hybernator (talk). Self nominated at 00:56, 15 December 2013 (UTC).

  • Created on 15th Dec, and long enough. References are appropriate and sufficient. I have linked the article to a few others. The hook fact is booked up by the sources, particularly [2], and other facts in the article are correct and suitably referenced. However, there are some sections of wording which are rather too close to their sources. This is a specific problem with certain passages rather than a constant problem throughout. Examples of close paraphrasing include the following:
  • It was not until 2004 that the orchestra held its first concert at MRTV's Studio A for invited guests.
  • Things changed for the better in January 2012 when Khin Nyunt was freed from house arrest.
  • Because it lacked skilled musicians to play such key instruments as violins and oboes, the orchestra enlisted musicians from Vietnam...
  • Please could these be reworded accordingly. All other aspects of the article and hook are fine for DYK. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 21:54, 21 December 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks. I've reworded those three lines. Please check again. Hybernator (talk) 16:10, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Good stuff; now fully verified and ready to go. Hassocks5489 (Floreat Hova!) 16:59, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
