Samantha Reid (synchronized swimmer)[edit]

  • Given the contortions necessary to accommodate the large supply of Olympics hooks, I'm feeling the need to look closely at the articles and hooks. Reid is a second-time Olympian, but the article seems "thin" on interesting content. If we take away the repetition of the fact that she's a synchronized swimmer (yes, it's OK for the lead to duplicate content from the article body, but readers may perceive it as repetitive) and trivia like "In 2008 at the Springwood Aquatic Centre, she gave a talk to young swimmers about her Olympic experience" and "In December 2008, she went on holiday to Hong Kong", there isn't a lot left. (Recitation of point totals and ranks in different named competitions doesn't seem like good prose...) --Orlady (talk) 21:03, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
