Shouldn't this template also include the RC cathedrals situated in Northern Ireland? At the moment it's just RC cathedrals in Great Britain. Man vyi 11:38, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I really think that the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of the Holy Family in Exile and the Bishopric of the Forcces' Cathedral should be included in this template. This is because the term 'Roman Catholic' is sometimes ambiguous - it is debated whether 'Roman Catholic' is only exclusive to Latin-rite Catholics, or whether it includes both Latin and Eastern Rite Catholics. However, the Wikipedia article 'Roman Catholicism' is the article about the Catholic Church. Therefore, because Wikipedia must have considered both Latin and Eastern-Rite Catholics to be Roman Catholics, then I do not see why the Apostolic Exarchate of the Ukrainians' Cathedral and also the Bishopric of the Forces' Cathedral should be deleted from this template. I've tidies the template a bit, cathedrals just listed by city now rather than a mixture of city and dedication. I think it keeps the template less cluttered and keeps it consistant with the Anglican cathedral template too. Also changed Coulby Newham Cathedral to Middlesbrough Cathedral - Coulby Newham is a suburb of Middlesbrough, and the cathedral's own website calls it Middlesbrough Cathedral. Picture[edit]

I just added a picture, please feel free to replace it with one that represents all of the countries in the template. To achieve this I was thinking about adding a picture that included all of the coats of arms of the various bishops' conferences, such as England and Wales, Ireland and Scotland. I am just seeing whether it would be a copyvio to upload the logo of the Irish Catholic Bishops' Conference. Pjposullivan (talk) 19:07, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
