Texas District 31 of the United States House of Representatives is a Congressional district that serves a strip of central Texas from north Austin up to Stephenville. The district includes most of the fast-growing northern suburbs of Austin, the Williamson County part of Austin, as well as the Fort Hood military base. Billy Engle Jr is running against him as the Write in Candidate on Paper Ballot in the Primary Election on March 6, 2012.
The current representative from the district is John Carter.
