Pixlr tools are built to enable non-professionals to quickly create a custom image for a website or blog, to use fun apps that apply retro filters to photos, and simple utilities for fetching and sharing images online via social networking services such as Facebook and Flickr. Pixlr provides a variety of tools that start up fast and are simple to use. [3]

Pixlr Editor[edit]

A free, online, full-featured image editing and creation tool. It is similar to Photoshop, in menu options, in layout and in how they work.

Pixlr Express[edit]

A simple and immediate online tool for quick image adjustments.

Pixlr-o-matic[edit]

A fun and playful post-process darkroom where you can experiment with different effects, overlays, and borders. The process of editing images with Pixlr-o-matic is similar to the one of Hipstamatic on the iPhone. The process moves the user through three processing steps, which mimic the effects of old film/developer combinations, lenses, and cropping. Images can either be snapped via webcam, or uploaded to the site straight from the computer. The finished images can either be saved or shared directly through imm.io, Pixlr's own image-sharing service. [4]

Pixlr Grabber[edit]

Provides user with possibility to fetch images and screen grabs from the desktop and browser.

Imm.io[edit]

Pixlr API[edit]

The Pixlr API enables web developers to use Pixlr applications on their own site for free.
