April 2021[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Gab4gab. I noticed that you recently removed content from Ross High School (Hamilton, Ohio) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In addition your edits caused a citation error. Gab4gab (talk) 17:37, 26 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Ross High School (Hamilton, Ohio). Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Please stop adding these unsourced claims about school rivalries. We don't list rivals unless there is some significant rivalry that has resulted in media attention. And these are not grammar edits. Meters (talk) 19:24, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at National Trail High School, you may be blocked from editing. Don't contradict the cited sources. And stop calling all your edits grammar fixes Meters (talk) 19:33, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Hamilton High School (Hamilton, Ohio). And stop calling these edits grammar fixes. They have nothing to do with grammar. Meters (talk) 20:15, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Do you understand that you will likely be blocked if you continue adding unsourced claims with fake edit summaries? Do not add rivals unless you have independent reliable sources that discuss the rivalry. We do not list schools as rivals simply because they play against each other. And do not label these edits as grammar fixes. I will ask for a block the next time I have to undo one of these. Meters (talk) 20:22, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
And other fake edit summaries such as [1] are even worse. Meters (talk) 20:25, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. This editing will stop.

Do you know about the advantages of getting a free account?

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a minimum number of days and made a minimum number of edits. If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (174.97.15.43) is used to identify you instead.

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Trains2050 (talk) 15:28, 28 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
