June 2021[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Alicia (album) has been reverted.
Your edit here to Alicia (album) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline. The reference(s) you added or changed (https://www.discogs.com/Alicia-Keys-Alicia/release/16140821) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 04:14, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Hi. Just to clarify, there are a few reasons your edit was unconstructive. Firstly, our guidelines for track listings at album articles advice us to only not extra listings for tracks that have significant commentary in the articles (MOS:ALBUM#Track listing). Second, sources based in user-submitted content such as Discogs are considered unreliable and should not be used to cite information in articles (WP:USERGENERATED). If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message at my talk page, and remember to sign your comments with four tildes at the end, as explained at WP:SIGN. Thank you. isento (talk) 04:19, 19 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to No One (Alicia Keys song) have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to use disruptive, inappropriate or hard-to-read formatting, as you did at Superwoman (Alicia Keys song), you may be blocked from editing. There is a Wikipedia Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Don't add code to create small text in the infobox, per MOS:SMALLFONT. Binksternet (talk) 06:18, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Underdog (Alicia Keys song). MOS:SMALLFONT again. Binksternet (talk) 15:32, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
Possible block evasion by User:Simple2010, who was also in the habit of fussing with infobox list formats, and adding small fonts.[1] Binksternet (talk) 16:50, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Good Job (song). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.
Your edit here to Good Job (song) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwL5AOFCqiw) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. music or video) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Brand New Me (Alicia Keys song), you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings.
