Request reason:

I believe I am IP blocked and not as a result of any past edits. Is there any way for me to be unblocked? 203.100.6.130 (talk) 03:09, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This IP indeed has a lengthy block record that culminated in this 5-year block it's in the middle of due to many past edits from it. Since most addresses like this at universities are shared, we really have no choice and can't just drop the block on the basis of one user's request. You may, if you seriously wish, create an account (although you'll have to do it from another IP range as the block here even prevents that. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:44, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
