January 2024[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Talk:Rex Smith are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please refrain from using talk pages such as Talk:Rex Smith for general discussion of this or other topics. They are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways, based on reliable sources and the project policies and guidelines; they are not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See the talk page guidelines for more information. Thank you. Philipnelson99 (talk) 02:40, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I was using it to discuss events that I had specific experience with and I don't understand this obsession with restriction when it comes to adding anything in regard to furthering discussion. If you think there is an excess of discussion I have nothing to tell you but you might need to see a therapist. Are you people worried that too much dialogue might happen in the pursuit of reality?
I will pay for your plane ticket to Grand Junction, and we can have this discussion face-to-face. Let me know, kid. 69.144.246.119 (talk) 04:21, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I am not editing anything but using talkpages to suggest helpful edits that add to people's understanding of topics. Sorry that bothers you, but making suggestions is not against wikipedia's rules. 15:02, 11 March 2024 (UTC) User:DangerousLiberty 69.144.246.119 (talk) 15:02, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You aren't making suggestions about improving articles, you are posting rants based on your political views. You have been warned and blocked for this before. You also keep signing your posts with a false username (DangerousLiberty) for a user that doesn't exist. ThaddeusSholto (talk) 15:06, 11 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think you have an accurate understanding of language. The entirety of Wikipedia reflects the political views of the community. It's not some objective view of reality because ALL humans have a bias. Please stop deleting ideas for suggestions of edits that make you emotional.
