{{helpme}} I have an article to post about a talent agent named David Weintraub, but that article name is already taken by a politician. Do I create a disambiguation page, or a redirect, or what?

Thank you for any help you can offer. --Alzbeta (talk) 03:47, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You should see if the person is notable before so. If you want, I can help you with the disambig, it's pretty tricky. BoL (Talk) 03:56, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} Can someone please help me create a disambiguation page for David Weintraub and David Weintraub (entertainer/talent manager)? The person who offered to help me in July asked for more info, which I supplied, then never answered me again. Thank you. --Alzbeta (talk) 03:52, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize, been busy lately. BoL (Talk) 03:56, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, that's fine. You're not obligated. I would just like *someone* to help me, please. --Alzbeta (talk) 03:59, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed up the article. Just make sure it doesn't get deleted :) BoL (Talk) 04:04, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you able to do the disambiguation page as well? I don't want the page to be an orphan. --Alzbeta (talk) 05:20, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I see the disamb page now. I thought I would be lead there from searching for "David Weintraub" but I got the politician's page when I did that so I thought it didn't exist. Thanks for your help. --Alzbeta (talk) 19:13, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of David Weintraub (entertainer/talent manager)[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article David Weintraub (entertainer/talent manager), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. {{helpme}} Why was this page deleted? I asked for help with it several times and the last time it was gutted and left the way it was when it was deleted. Why is he not eligible for a bio page? I would appreciate some help. Thanks!--Alzbeta (talk) 16:05, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please read Why was my page deleted? which should explain the reason your page was deleted. I've just looked through the page's deletion log, I discovered that it was deleted by DragonflySixtyseven with the reason 'notability not asserted.' Hope that helps —— RyanLupin(talk) 16:33, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
