September 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page David Bennett (coach) has been reverted.
Your edit here to David Bennett (coach) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn27sLE-R4s) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. July 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Arkansas–Little Rock Trojans, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. There is a current discussion going on the talk page. Please talk there before you move the page. Corkythehornetfan 22:24, 8 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The reason for my edit was to bring the page name into 100% compliance with the actual re-branding of the Little Rock Trojans. If you review "Conque Announces Logos, Little Rock Trojans Brand"[1], you'll see that they've removed all reference to "University of Arkansas" and "Arkansas" from their name, so the page itself should also reflect that. As a Credentialed Sports Media member that covers the Sun Belt (and getting ready to publish an article quoting three of the Little Rock Trojans Coaches), I can equivocally state that the change needs to be returned, and redirects for the old name placed. BearlyDoug (talk) 00:18, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I read it back when another user moved the page. I agree with a page move, but another user has disagreed and therefore a requested move needed to happen. You can voice your opinion at Talk:Arkansas–Little Rock Trojans article. You need to make sure something like a requested move hasn't happened already before moving it. My apologies. I've done several in-page edits, but never a page move (hadn't felt the need to until now). I'm still learning my way around all the nuances of Wikipedia'ing, haha! I appreciate it, Corky!

No worries.. we've all done it! Corkythehornetfan 01:58, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
