License tagging for Image:Asfsposter2.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Asfsposter2.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:05, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Speedy Deletion tag[edit]

As the creator of the article in question, you are not permitted to remove the speedy delete tag. Please read the tag carefully. Freshacconci 03:16, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia

Hello, Bluellamastudios, and welcome to Wikipedia! Wikipedia is one of the world's fastest growing internet sites. We aim to build the biggest and most comprehensive encyclopaedia in the world. To date we have over four million articles in a host of languages. The English language Wikipedia alone has over one million articles! But we still need more! Please feel free to contribute your knowledge and expertise to our site.

If you need help see:

Here are a few more good links for newcomers:

We hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using three tildes (~~~), or four (~~~~) if you want date stamp; this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. {{{1}}} Again, welcome! Herostratus 05:52, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Scott Waddell, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. Deletion tag[edit]

Do not remove a WP:AfD tag:

"Please improve the article if possible, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed. For more information, particularly on merging or moving the article during the discussion, read the guide to deletion."

Thank you. Freshacconci 15:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Guide to referencing[edit]

Deletion[edit]

It is unfortunate that some of your articles are being deleted or proposed for deletion. This is because of notability concerns. It would be a good idea to study the policy, and also use references carefully, as above. Put it down to teething troubles. The articles do look well set out. This account has been indefinitely blocked as a user name (i.e. sockpuppet) used by you. Please see WP:SOCK. You should normally just uses one account name for edits. Please also remember to log on so that you do not edit as an IP address. Thank you. Tyrenius 07:16, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has nominated Nouveau Classical Evolution, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nouveau Classical Evolution and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Copyright[edit]

==Image copyright problem with Image:ScottWaddellPortrait.jpg==
Thank you for uploading Image:ScottWaddellPortrait.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Donald Albury 13:44, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Asfsposter2.gif[edit]

Image:Asfsposter2.gif fixed the fair use tag, so make sure it gets put on the corresponding page; otherwise, the wiki bots will delete for being an orphan image. --Kolrobie 01:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Asfsposter2.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Asfsposter2.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
