A tag has been placed on Cornell University College of Business requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://business.cornell.edu/about/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Cornell University College of Business. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Wikipedia is not a marketing tool or a free advertising service, and blatant marketing-speak such as "bringing together the excellence and breadth of Cornell's leading undergraduate, graduate, and professional business programs to create a more collaborative and comprehensive business management program" has no place in any Wikipedia article. I am just trying to create a page for the College of Business so it is on wikipedia. Not trying to do any marketing or selling. Just making it exist. I have never done this before.

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "CCB Marketing", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies this is a group account, which is not allowed on Wikipedia. Your use of "I" instead of "we" does imply you are only one person, and you aren't making obvious promotional edits recently (as far as I can see), so hopefully this can be quickly be fixed.
