November 2011[edit]

Hi! Just an "FYI"... the Great American Stations reference you've been adding to train station articles has a typo in the web address (it says "statons" instead of "stations"). I corrected this in the Downeaster station articles. Thanks, –BMRR (talk) 17:02, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

East Lansing Amtrak[edit]

Hello, I see you added a 2011 Amtrak number for the East Lansing station, but MDOT's own site gives a different number than your source, and the MDOT number, IMO, is better sourced for the fiscal year:

http://mdotwas1.mdot.state.mi.us/public/railstats/index.cfm?event=CorrStationActRpt

As you can see, the fiscal year ridership at the East Lansing station is 66,703. --Criticalthinker (talk) 01:10, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I hadn't realized this had been and issue, before, and meant no disrespect. --Criticalthinker (talk) 02:14, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for June 19[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Paul Bunyan Statue, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Peavey (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Removing ridership ranks[edit]

Thank you for updating Amtrak station ridership figures; however, can you please explain why you're removing the brief commentary on their relative numbers within a state? That is useful information; it should be updated, not removed. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 22:05, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, and thanks for your feedback. The rankings were something I added (under a different username) about five years ago. Updating them was labor-intensive, and they were never revised with new data by anyone but me. I've been deleting the rankings over the past couple of years as I see them, and as they've become increasingly outdated. Thanks, Cranboy (talk) 22:28, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the explanation. Unless you seriously object, I may re-add them to certain stations (mostly the Massachusetts ones) that I keep a close eye on. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 22:30, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No objection from me! Thanks,Cranboy (talk) 22:32, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
