Some honest guidance[edit]

You are free to remove this message but you are highly encouraged to read through it. It's important for your future editing on Wikipedia.

You seem to have encountered several issues while starting editing Wikipedia:

  1. This wasn't justified; I'm willing to accept that you did it on accident though.
  2. You have attempted to create the DJ Erick Roman article, which due to your username appears to be an autobiography. Please note that writing about yourself is highly discouraged. This is especially true because I could not find significant, reliable, and third-party coverage to establish the notability required for a Wikipedia article.
  3. In the course of that, you also likely have a conflict of interest regarding yourself, making it even more prudent for you to allow a third-party unaffiliated editor create an article on you instead when time warrants it.
  4. Most importantly of all, when a page is nominated for speedy deletion, you, as the page author, are not allowed to remove that tag. Even if you do, the article can and will be deleted immediately should it meet any of the criteria (the relevant criteria here are that the article makes no claim to notability and/or it is too promotional in nature). Instead, when your page gets deleted, think of why it happened and see how to avoid the problems in the future. If you have questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.

Please note that however much we dislike doing so, we may block you from editing shall you repeatedly fail to remedy the above issues. I hope it doesn't come down to that though.--Jasper Deng (talk) 08:31, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "DJ Erick Roman"[edit]

A page you created, DJ Erick Roman, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, you removed all content from the page or otherwise requested its deletion.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. I dream of horses If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. @ 08:32, 14 December 2014 (UTC),[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on DJ Erick Roman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at DJ Erick Roman shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
