Andre Burley[edit]

I would like to apologise for removing Andre Burley from the current player section at Wycombe Wanderers FC. I do believe that he may be out of contract but he is still training with the team. So I think he should still be listed under current players. Do you know whether or not he is still part of the development squad though? He's over the EFL requirement of being an 'U21' so I guess he would be classed as being in the first team. Thank you for also adding in Oliver Pendlebury's squad number too. ChesnutTreesNearTheGreen (talk) 11:22, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ChesnutTreesNearTheGreen

No problem. I think what we're doing now with the squad list is the best way forward, namely having everyone on the same list, as there seems to be no fixed definition of who is in the first team squad, and who is in the development squad. I'd suggest that Pendlebury could be on his way into the first team squad very soon, if his performance against Leicester is anything to go by, but I guess there will be no official announcement of this, just as there wasn't one when Anis Mehmeti broke into the first team. DipsyDave (talk) 20:34, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. Pendlebury looked pretty good on Wednesday evening. I remember that sexy side foot ball he did to McCarthy and that really caught my attention! ChesnutTreesNearTheGreen (talk) 21:18, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wycombe Wanderers Third Kit Socks[edit]

Hi DipsyDave,

Thanks for adding in the new away kit into Wycombe Wanderers' page. However, the red socks have now been replaced by white socks. As I have no clue of how to edit kits, is there a way the red socks could be restored?

Thank you!

You're welcome. Sorry about the red kit, that has now been corrected. I was a bit too hasty with some of my editing, and I must admit I didn't realise that the colour of the socks was wrong! DipsyDave (talk) 20:34, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No worries whatsoever! I have also restored the third kit socks onto the 21-22 page so that's all sorted. Also forgot to mentioned earlier that it's probably, on reflection, to keep it as a list. ChesnutTreesNearTheGreen (talk) 21:26, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

April 2022[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Paul Fuschillo article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 21:13, 3 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi GiantSnowman - apologies for the lack of source. I have now added one. DipsyDave (talk) 15:54, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wycombe Ownership Change[edit]

"At a meeting of the Board of Directors of Wycombe Wanderers, it was announced that the ownership of Feliciana EFL Ltd – which owns 90% of Wycombe Wanderers Football Club - had been transferred from Feliciana EFL LLC to Blue Ocean Partners II Limited, owned by Mikheil Lomtadze."

Hi Wycombefan. Feliciana still owns 90% of Wycombe Wanderers FC. The difference is that the ownership of Feliciana has now changed. That's why I thought that the infobox details should stay the same, showing that Feliciana EFL still owns a 90% share of WWFC. DipsyDave (talk) 22:00, 6 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
