Licensing permission[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Your userpage contains a message indicating to other contributors that you have authorization to place material on Wikipedia from www.xerxesart.com/ and www.xerxesfinearts.com/ under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License. When adding text, you should include a note in edit summary that says something like, "Reused with permission; see talk." After that, you should leave a note of explanation on the talk page. For your convenience, I will place an example notice on your userpage that you can simply copy when it is needed. You should also include a note in the "reference" section of an article providing a direct link to the page or pages from which text is copied and noting that the material has been licensed under CC-By-SA. I have created a "template" for you to do so that should be very easy. All you'll need to do is paste the following:{{User:Flamedeluge/source|source=URL|sourcename=TITLE|date=TODAY'S DATE}}, where you replace the URL with the URL from which the material was copied and TODAY'S DATE with today's date.

For example: <code><nowiki>{{User:Flamedeluge/source|source=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Flamedeluge/source|sourcename=User:Flamedeluge/source|date=27 September 2009}} produces the following note:

As of 27 September 2009, this article uses content from User:Flamedeluge/source. The material used in this article is licensed in a way that permits reuse under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License, but not under the GFDL. All relevant terms must be followed.

If you have any questions about how to do this, please let me know at my talk page, which you can reach by following the "talk" link after my username.

Thank you. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 22:49, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Shenda Amery, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.xerxesfinearts.com/artists.aspx?aid=66. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. A tag has been placed on Shenda Amery requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ks0stm If you reply here, please leave me a {{Talkback}} message on my talk page. 09:53, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Verifying permission[edit]

Hello. If you have difficulty understanding the instructions you've been given for verifying permission, please let me know. I happened to notice this one in time to prevent its being deleted, but if you do not follow the instructions on your userpage for verifying and above for attribution, this is very likely to continue happening and some of your articles will probably be deleted. Wikipedia has many volunteers who review new articles, and they will not know that you have permission if you don't verify it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:48, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to duplicate text from the website, please follow the instructions. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 02:30, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
